UWANT D100 Review: One-Pass Wet and Dry Cleanup Put to the Test

I tested the UWANT D100 on ketchup, a large water spill, and debris under a chair. Its one-pass pickup, lay-flat reach, and easy steering were the highlights.

A wet/dry floor cleaner earns its place by handling the messes that are annoying to clean twice. I tested the UWANT D100 with ketchup, a large water spill, and debris under a chair to see whether its lay-flat design and automatic Smart mode were genuinely useful.

Setup and included accessories

The D100 arrived with a charging base, deep-cleaning solution, an extra roller, and a replacement filter. I added a small amount of the supplied cleaning solution to the clean-water tank and filled the remainder with water before testing.

Controls on the handle cycle through Smart, Turbo, Dry, and sanitization modes. A display shows the selected mode and remaining battery level. The transcript states about 50 minutes on a full charge, but I did not perform a timed full-battery rundown in this test.

The 180-degree lay-flat design worked under a chair

The handle lowered nearly flat while the cleaning head stayed on the floor. That let me push the D100 underneath a chair without moving it. The machine recognized that it was cleaning in a low area and announced an automatic suction adjustment.

Steering was another strong point. A small twist of my wrist redirected the front of the cleaner, which made it easier to guide around legs and into the exact path of a spill.

Ketchup test

I ran the D100 over ketchup on the floor while it was in Smart mode. In the demonstrated test, one pass removed the visible mess. Some ketchup was visible on the roller afterward, which is expected for a wet pickup, but the floor itself looked clean.

This result surprised me because similar products I have used sometimes needed two or three passes on a thick mess. It is one test on one floor surface, not a claim that every sticky spill will disappear in a single pass.

Large water-spill test

For the second test, I poured a substantial amount of water onto the floor. The D100 audibly increased its effort after detecting the spill. One pass collected the visible water in the demonstrated area, and the floor no longer showed a standing puddle.

Docking and daily use

When cleaning was finished, I placed the machine back on its dock and it began charging. The simple drop-on arrangement is convenient because there is no cable to plug into the vacuum after every use.

What I liked

  • One-pass pickup in both the ketchup and water demonstrations.
  • Lay-flat reach under a chair without moving the furniture.
  • Easy steering with a small wrist movement.
  • Multiple modes for wet pickup, stronger cleaning, and dry debris.
  • Replacement roller and filter included.

What to consider

  • The approximate 50-minute runtime was stated, not timed in this review.
  • The tests covered a limited area and floor type rather than an entire home.
  • Wet rollers and dirty-water components still require cleanup after messy spills.

My verdict

The UWANT D100 performed better than I expected in the messes I demonstrated. The lay-flat body solved a real access problem, while the one-pass ketchup and water results made the cleaner feel efficient rather than gimmicky. Based on these tests, I would consider it for a home where frequent food and drink spills make vacuuming and mopping separately a chore.
